FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS SHIT! DAMN YOU!

WHOLE NEW MADNESS

Rumination. Imagination. Reflection.

Determination amidst difficulties certainly captures a rewarding life. I made to mention this phrase because I wanna keep inspired. Haha! LOL! Through out the week, most of the things that I have done was to have a personal reflection. Should I say its a whole new madness? or just a heck of being dumb? i dont want to say it but im not really comfortable doing such. Id rather want my group mates to introduce something new. something fresh. something that has never been into my eyes. something greek to me.! CIAO!

BREAKING THROUGH A NEW ERA

Breaking through a new era marks the start of a new beginning. A beginning which sets us to new exposure; the Integrated Management for Childhood Illness Rotation. Indeed, another community exposure is yet to be uncovered. And right now, I cant resist the excitement in my bones as we are about to travel in Marilog for our outreach program. fingers Crossed!

Post Script: Kudos to the SubSuper Group for bagging the grand prize in hebra presentation! Nice one guyz!

BEST OF 2009

SUCCESS, SUCCESSFUL, EXCELLENT!

Psychiatric NUrsing Rotation had gone too bad for most nursing students but not for the SUB SUPER GROUP! We endure to impress! We strive for the best! And we work hand in hand! This is the secret for the harmonious relationship we had with our CI/DR Mary Rose Dela Rosa Nunez! SHE was very nice and very approachable to us since the rotation started. She never failed to repremend us with our lousiness and irresponsibility, nonetheless she never forgets to stress out and appreciate our every efforts and performances in everyday of the rotation. She is an indifferent woman of passion and knowledge. She opens the mind of her students to explore and be confident in facing problems. In so far as my personal observation, the area of expsure (Dela Rosa Psychiatric Clinic) has the typical accomodation for a psychologically and mentally unstable patient. It is a recovery conducive place for rehabilitation. My experiences so far was no doubt very uncomparable! Therepies we had were incredible as what our CI commented. I so love this rotation even though it causes my eyebags to go and become larger, i dont care, after all its the experience and that I gain and the knowledge I generate.. PSYCHIA XX!

SUBSUPERGROUP JOINS MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST

This is a whole new stuff for subsupergroup! Another showcasing of talents and skills in performing as well as in acting in the limelights of digital filming. I felt very proud upon watching it, though I was not able to help in carryig out this video. Yet, my fingers are still crossed for the victory of subsupergroup. It will be sent as an entry to the Music Video Contest in San Pedro College Student's Day. It will be shown to the whole studentry this coming February 24. And it will be the students who will choose and declare who the winners will be. If only you'll know the whole story behind the camera lense of this video. Let me unfold the blog it out.
Lights.Camera.Action
The day was started with a hot, lazy morning. I planned to wash my used clothings first before going to Framette's place (where the location of video shooting was done). After I washed my clothes, I then realize that I was already late for the video shooting. I vaslty done my showers and hurridly went to Framette's place to aviod conflicts and discussions on my laziness. After we eating our lunch, we then started shooting out the video. The theme for this year is "Breathe" and the concept should revolve around the theme so the group decided to use the No Air by Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks. There were few of us who participated during the initial shooting of the video, and it was intimidating. And in the middle of the shooting, my ego was hurt when my groupmates started to neglect and ignore my efforts in making the video shooting as fast as possible. The ending was I walked out and never return. The coldness runs on my veins as I walked through the pathways of my boarding house. Guilt is the primary emotion followed by anger. And to cut this story short, during school days, the settlement between the two parties was done. Leaving no traces of grudes and pain. Im glad we are now okay with the SSG! I <3>

DR ROTATION IT IS!

Upon the start of the year 2009, it was predicted by the soothsayers that people who were born on the Year of the Horse (ehem!) will recieve good lucks this year. Apparently from last year's jinx, where in I lost my 2 cellular phones, now the lucks are starting to fall down from heaven. Lol! The first day of my DR rotation was filled with boring discussion, lifeless demonstration and some heck of return demonstration. However, after having the demonstration done, the announcement of the order of handle, assist, and chord dressing was done. Luckily, I will be the first one to do the chord drerssing, and it will be on Monday! And I am like, Holy Sh*t! Is this it? Help me God! I dont want to spoil this rotation, not even to have a single bad day. Just let me do the cord dressing well, and i'll be very happy about it.. Sigh! Just crossing my fingers for the manic monday!

AUTOSHOP: IVE BEEN THERE

Last night was the night to die for. It was the San Pedro College BSN Soiree, observing its theme for this years party which is Rainbow party. Basically, I wore a retro gray shirt printed with abstract designs of pink and purple. The night was filled with music, dance showdown, alot of entertaining production numbers and humorous acts of some talented yet intellegent students of San Pedro College of Nursing. The highlight of the show was the 2008 Mr. and Ms. Nursing. It was participated with 8 pairs of good looking, intellegent, chic and gorgeous student nurses of San Pedro College. One of the constestants is my classmate Miss Raisa Marie Fernan who unfortunately failed to be on the top 5. Sigh. But still, they made it a night to remember. the food were expedient and the facility was quite good. It was held at DavCon Center, Davao City. Right after the show, together with some of my classmates, we decided to go for a night out. We headed to Bak-Bak(a famous place for night hang outs) We drink like there's no tomorrow. Orvi, em2 Ralfi and me laughed the night away! I really enjoyed the company aside from the dizzyness I started to felt when we headed our way to autoshop. Yes! Our next stop was autoshop compound. Upon entering the premises of the place, we already glanced the faces of some of our classmates whom are also having their night out. There, we drink, they drink. We party. They left. It was all unplanned yet it turned our to be a night of my life. I enjoyed experiencing the life here in the city. Last night, I proved that there is always a first time to everything. (ooopsss!) Hahaha!

CEREBRAL OVERLOAD

It was the phrase uttered by our clinical instructor Ms Mangubat (who is definitely good in teaching NCM) The phrase lingered in my mind over and over again, and i never knew the reason why. Till i found out that I can actually relate to what our teacher was saying! Indeed!Iam suffering from a cerebral overlaod! Lots of RD's to memorize! Bunch of extension services to think of. This is much of a burden but as what the song would say.. there's gotta be more to life! Than chasing out every temporary high.. to satisfy me.. The past few weeks were toxicated week!

Last sunday, I attended my first ever volunterism activity in CES-VSP(a School Org bound to offer Community Extention Services) which is BP taking. Being part of the Health Core Group is actually a greek thing to me. At first, I had taken it for granted but after serving Sta. Ana Church, I realize how rewarding it is to serve other people without any forms of payment given back to you. Upon joining this organization, I had bear in mind that I would simply list my name on the sheet and become a mere member, in other words, my intetion in joining the club was just for membership purposes. But everthing had gone changed after we were done with the BP taking. Have you felt that kind of emotion inside you that, everytime other people would extend their hearts for gratitude and happiness, its truly amazing! I tell you. It maybe is hard and tiresome experience, but the memories Ive treasured is worth remembering! Thank you CES family for giving me the opurtunity to serve!

Last tuesday was the Miting de Avance of the Saligan Office for the Election of the year. Anually, the school handles this event to call every student's attention to ponder and choose the best among the best leaders in our school. The battle was between the two prominent parties, MAGDALO AND LAHAT PARTY. Both team actually posses the heart for passion and service which is vital in being a leader. But as the book would say, there's no secret in a sucessful leadership. I just wish the two parties goodluck and kudos to the winners. I already voted and the color I chose is the color that best describes me. Hahaha! Lol! Its just between pink ang green. What do you think is the color that fits me? huh?

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

These photos were personally taken by me in fulfilment of the requirements in Humanities 100. We were told to take photos of our choice to be submitted on the day of exam. So days before the exam I secured my photo already and asked some of my friends to be my subject and pose for my first ever photo exibit! nyahaha! Lol! The first photo is my friend Kathlene Ione who tried to be emotional in the photo. The second and the third photo depicts my boardmate Kevin, who use to smoke. And he was not hesitant to have himself taken with several shots. So I never had problems with it. I chose the "damaged" as my final photo to be submitted. Im starting to love digital photography.

PIMPED DESKTOP

This is what technology has done to my laptop. Trully amazing! Thanks to my boardmate, Mark Abellon. I love the objectdock rather than the old desktop I had. It feels like Im using a MacOS operating system where in fact it was just a lousy XP. Hahaha! Keep it cool!
